Tiger Cub has two offerings: “Mommy and Me” classes for kids age 1-4 and individualized, play-based music lessons for kids roughly 4-6 years of age. Our classes and lessons are engaging, age-appropriate and carefully-structured.

Music classes are offered outdoors in South Pasadena and run about 40 minutes. Lessons are in Northeast LA in a recording studio; for certain exceptions travel to the child’s home is possible.

We can also provide consultations to educators schools wanting to incorporate this style of music education into their classrooms. Music is incredibly important for kids’ development during this stage of growth. Children need to be exposed and engaged musically during the first several years of life in order to develop complete musical aptitude. When this is neglected early in life, that is when we find “tone-deafness" or being “rhythmically challenged.”

Daniel Epstein is an early-childhood music educator and recording artist. Tiger Cub Music, which he founded in 2017, is a program designed to promote musical learning and development through creative, play-based musical expression. Daniel has over 12 years experience as an early-childhood music educator in both preschools and "mommy and me" classes (Music Together). He received his BA in Vocal Performance from Emory University as well as a Masters of Music from The San Francisco Conservatory of Music in Opera. Daniel currently resides in Silverlake, Los Angeles.
